Two years in discussion, over a year of searching, multiple flights to Victoria (thank goodness for air miles! ), pounding the streets of Melbourne, near misses and gazumping ( which ended up being a blessing in disguise ! ) and finally……The stars aligned, we found our true love on 159 Gertrude Street Fitzroy ( where else ?! ) After two months of blood sweat and beers, a last minute redesign ( sometimes even the best plans need to be reconfigured, in a Gemini feng Shui kind of a way ) we opened on Saturday the 26th of April.
