For Pre-Spring 2022, Ulla Johnson glows with a colour palette and a play on pattern and silhouette, inspired by the desert landscape of the American West.
After a trip through the transportive and arresting landscape of Arizona and Utah, the collection harkens the sinuous lines and geologic striations of the regions painted canyons.
Rich earth tones of dense umber, sage and clay are punctuated by bold poppy, bright ochre and sun-bleached saguaro.
Graphic patterns of checkerboard, polka dots, zig zags and stripes are eroded for a blurred effect.
Desert flowers abound.
