Boy Style = Good Style
When in London a few weeks ago , a name kept cropping up – Studio Nicholson. Studio Nicholson is a label started by the effortlessly chic Nick Wakeman, a former menswear designer who has applied her love of the classic mans wardrobe to her womens label. She has quietly created a great following amongst women who love uncomplicated , confident pieces that become wardrobe staples. We liked what we heard…and we liked what we saw , because here at The Standard Store we have a penchant for man style tailoring. So our first Studio Nicholson delivery this week has been eagerly anticipated . Blazers cut in the finest cloth, oversized, and sharp. T shirts made of silk disguised as fine cotton. Moss stitched jumpers with rounded edges and a heavy cotton dress with a tuxedo shirt hem. And the trousers… immaculately tailored in the Firenze with a long rise, and a curved inside leg in the Lune. In hues of ice cream, ice blue clay and ink. It’s the kind of style you want to dress in head to toe. Easy peasy.
