Beauty In The Simple
Sunspel was founded in 1860 and in 2013 it is still going strong. A pioneer in British craftsmanship the idea is to make simple everyday clothing in beautiful fabrics. They have created 3 iconic products: The Boxer , introduced in 1947 to Britain , and still made today to the original pattern ( with a few minor tweaks) immortalised in 1985 by Nick Kamen when he peeled off his Levis 501′s in the laundromat. The T-Shirt, by the 1950′s the Sunspel T-Shirt was refined so that it reached its iconic simplicity. Made from two fold single jersey cotton , with double bound hems they are quite simply the perfect Tee. The Polo, the Sunspel Polo became synonymous with the quintessentially English character James Bond . The Riviera Polo was created for Daniel Craig to wear in Casino Royale. Indeed Sunspel know a thing or two about 007′s sartorial tastes.
